Zip Up for Isaac is inspired by one very special little heart angel, Isaac Vincent. He was born with hypoplastic left heart syndrome (HLHS) on March 25, 2014, his first open chest surgery was on October 1, 2014, he receiveda heart transplant November 13, 2014, and became a pain-free beautiful angel in heaven on December 10, 2014. Treatments for this congenital heart defect left him with a beautiful, unique-as-a-fingerprint,scar down his chest, whichwas lovingly referred to as his zipper. People that love and remember Isaacand whocontinue to followhis story are proud to Zip Up for Isaac! Now, we celebrate what would have been his first birthday with this shirt sale and Heart Walk in his memory! Funds raised from this sale will be donated to the Tampa Bay Congenital Heart Walk Team created in his memory. The Congenital Heart Walk is a national fundraising event series benefitting the Adult Congenital Heart Association (ACHA) and The Children’s Heart Foundation (CHF).His team willwalk to honor and remember the millions who have been impacted by congenital heart disease (CHD).
