HELP WRITING MOTHERS GET TO THE WRITER UNBOXED UN-CONFERENCE!
There’s
a strong sense of connection for the members of Writer Unboxed. They’re
holding their first in-person conference in November — the
Un-Conference. We discovered there were mothers with young children who
would be unable to attend because of those additional financial issues.
They would have to come up with not only airfare (in some cases,
international airfare!), room and board, and the conference fee — but
they were going to need childcare help, as well. Since it’s a close knit
family, we decided to throw a fund raiser to benefit our fellow
writers, with profits going directly to these writing moms, hopefully
enabling them to attend the conference.
