About this campaign

This is a group of Veterans' who volunteer their time and efforts to visit and support our most severely combat wounded hospitalized troops and their loved ones with friendship and health and comfort packages.

In 2006 a group of Veterans' formed the John R Tamburri Jr Post chartered by American Veterans. Our mission is to 'Support Self Sacrifice' by regularly visiting our wounded at Walter Reed Military Hospital bringing care packages for our wounded troops as well as their loved ones (usually bedside or staying near by with little health and comfort supplies), informing Veterans' programs, and placing our Veterans' in employment. All is done 100% Volunteer. No Salaries, No Compensation. Anything donated goes 100% to our Troops/Veterans'.
