About this campaign

kaleiahs closet is a journey of love set in motion by the passing of our Kaleiah, in her short life she was loved and gave more love than most ever offer, she has left a lasting impression upon everyone she's met! In the days followingJanuary 27, Kim Nield, Kaleiah's mommy knew she had to continue kaleiah's legacy of Love--and so Kaleiahs closet is born!! Kim with her husband Ron and family have been a foster/adoptive family for 18+ years and know the difficulties and emotional stress that children going into protective services can endure and just want to offer them a token of love and hope! Will be offering sizes newborn up for infants to ages 18.

And now these three remain faith hope and love but the greatest of these is love! 1 Corinthians13:13 Kaleiah was love! Kaleiah is love forever in our hearts!!! Our journey began January 11, 2015 a trip to Jackson General after a long running respiratory illness. Still trying still fighting a battle she has seemingly fought since birth Kaleiah still requesting Cheetos and chicken nuggets and french fries with that beautiful captivating smile, discovered that her little heart was severely enlarged. With this diagnosis and breathing difficulties doctors thought it best to transfer her to Vanderbilt children's hospital. With her mommy and "baby doll" by her side they arrived safely. Doctors thought it would be best to intubate Kaleiah to let her body rest. At this point things became far more complicated she went into a coma which is how she was for 16 very long days! Roller coaster of ups and downs many millions tears and very hard decisions she was taken off life support on January 27 2014 and left usto join our Heavenly Father. Whereas hearts were/are broken, faith, hope, and loveremain the strengths that rise above knowing that we will see her again! A new journey began without Kaleiah by our side but up above the desire to carry on her legacy! To pass on hope, to pass on joy, to pass on love! Our vision is Kaleiah's Closet which will offer items such as clothing, self care items, or even something as simple as the comfort of a teddy bear to someone in need-our primary focus to help infants/children/teens coming into foster care and those who have lost their possessions(such as through a house fire) or dramatic changes in finances. Kaleiah was a ray of sunshine for all she met and with this "paying it forward " we believe that ray will shine forever!!
