About this campaign

Innovations from science, technology, engineering and math have touched every aspect of our lives. These innovations were born from hard work, dedication and huge amounts of creativity. Most importantly these innovations arise from groups of diverse individuals passionate about solving problems. To maintain these innovations, we seek your support for UW-Madison's very own young scientists. Your purchase or donation will go towards travel funding (flights/hotel) needed to attend the national SACNAS conference (sacnas.org).

SACNAS is a national organization that supports the success of underrepresented students in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) fields through mentorship, outreach and professional development activities. More about SACNAS can be found here (http://sacnas.org). We seek your support to provide all of our STEM underrepresented students, programs, services, mentorship and national recognition at the annual SACNAS conference. The UW-Madison SACNAS chapter seeks your support for professional development activities, hosting of outside underrepresented scientist speakers and travel awards to attend future SACNAS meetings.
