No girl should feel worthless because of how others perceive her sexuality. Join The UnSlut Project in the fight against sexual bullying and "slut" shaming in our schools, communities, media, and culture. With your help, "slut" won't even make sense as an insult.

In 2013, Emily Lindin started The UnSlut Project after hearing the stories of girls who had committed suicide as a result of being sexually bullied. At first, it was simply a blog of her own diary entries from when she was targeted as the "school slut" in middle school. Since then, The UnSlut Project has expanded into a supportive online community where people of all genders can share their own experiences with "slut shaming" (that means making someone feel inferior or guilty for their real or perceived sexual behavior), and where girls who are currently being sexually bullied can seek help and solidarity.
Our upcoming "Slut: A Documentary Film" features women from around North America who survived slut shaming, the family and friends of a girl who took her own life after being sexually bullied, and experts' opinions on how we can move forward. To help raise awareness of Sexual Bullying and Slut Shaming. Being a victim of sexual assault, I was a victim of sexually bullying throughout my high school year. Its hurtful and the awareness needs to continue. What she is doing here is amazing!
