About this campaign

Jo's Pit-Stop is a very small non-profit personal rescue organization. We are not yet 501c3 status, but are working on acquiring it. We take in dogs depending of funds/space availability. All dogs are fully vetted before being adopted out. They are heartworm tested, receive all vaccinations including Rabies, are placed on heartworm preventative, are spayed/neutered and microchipped, as well as any other vetting that is needed on a case-by-case basis. It is rather costly to treat/vet these dogs, so donations are often needed (&VERY much appreciated!) in order to help raise funds to get these dogs to full recovery.

Jo's Pit-Stop was created by Jodie LeJeune-Scott in 2015, and inspired by her love for "Bull Breeds/Mixes". While Jodie loves ALL dogs, her primary rescue focus is on "Bull Breeds/Mixes" due to them having a bad-rap and are ultimately the most misunderstood breeds/mixes out there, which makes them one of the hardest kind of dogs to adopt out and find GREAT loving forever homes. Jodie dedicates herself to saving & rehabilitating these amazing dogs in order to place them in wonderful, loving homes. Every donation received helps go directly towards her mission.
