SMA LOVE

Cameron J. ("Cam") Williams was born on May 22, 2012, as a healthy 9 lb. 2 oz. baby boy. No symptoms of SMA were detected until he was almost 3 months old. Never will we forget those days in the hospital, feeling so confused and angry—yet strengthened by the social workers and case managers who made the long road a bit easier.

Because of our unexpected trauma, our mission is to bring awareness about SMA (Spinal Muscular Atrophy) and other debilitating childhood diseases that affect every member of the household. We also want to equip the families of existing and recently diagnosed children with information about medical equipment, basic necessities, and compassionate support.
