About this campaign

This booster is helping Powell High School Art Guild raise money to help out with cost associated with future large installationsprojects such as the U307 PHSS Panther

The U307 PHSS Panther began construction phase in late August. Nearly 80Powell highschool teenagersparticipated invarious phases ofconstruction, including painting, riveting, woodworking, and paper shaping. Concluding the construction phase in late March, the U boat was hung in the high school, totalingcloseto 200lbs and 30ft in length, 4ft high, and 34in wide. Included in the realistic1/8th scale model isworking solar poweredpropellers and a motion sensor that playsvarious sounds, such as, "ALARM!"to radar bleeps.
