About this campaign

Summer will be here soon so we need to get started on repairs to our outbuildings, purchase formula (expensive) and maybe even save for the concrete for our shelter we raised funds for last year (just need to get a floor done first)  this pretty hoodie is a lighter weight so perfect for spring weather that's just around the corner

2nd Hand Ranch & Rescue is a small independent wildlife rehab home.  Nancy has been rescuing wildlife since she lived in Minnesota as a child and her mom saved orphaned squirrels, injured birds and lost kittens.  We are a licensed Wildlife Rehabilitation Center under the Illinois Department of Natural Resources and work closely with many other rehabbers as well our our local veterinarians, Conservation Police and DNR.

All wildlife is given lots of TLC, and raised with the goal to release back into the wild where it is most happy.

The Long Term Goal of 2nd Hand since we now are a 501 (c) (3) Charity is to grow our wildlife rescue as well as create a sanctuary for abused and senior animals of all kinds.  We dream of creating a weekend getaway for folks who want to spend a day in the country working with animals and learning about the beauty rural Illinois.
