About this campaign
We have been building a home-based parent-directed play therapy program we call "the g project" following the guidance and principles of the SonRise program from the Autism Treatment Center of America. Parenting, empowering and believing in our child with ASD & intractable epilepsy while utilizing their techniques, we have found a therapy and a lifestyle that is working better for all of us. Garrett is making progress in several areas including communication (while still pre-verbal), eye contact (growing exponentially) and interactive attention span (lengthening by leaps and bounds)! This is after following traditional therapies for two years. We haven't abandoned all other therapy, but we have found this to be our guiding light and hope on the horizon!
