About this campaign

We have been building a home-based parent-directed play therapy program we call "the g project" following the guidance and principles of the SonRise program from theAutism Treatment Center of America. Parenting, empowering and believing in our child with ASD & intractable epilepsy while utilizing their techniques, we have found a therapy and a lifestyle that is working better for all of us. Garrett is making progress in several areas including communication (while still pre-verbal), eye contact (growing exponentially) and interactive attention span (lengthening by leaps and bounds)! This is after following traditional therapies for two years. We haven't abandoned all other therapy, but we have found this to be our guiding light and hope on the horizon!


The costs of the training are significant as it is not an insurance-covered treatment or therapy. We have faith it will be worth every penny (as past participants have assured us) and EVERY PENNY helps! Overall, we will need to spend about $20,000 to complete the training including week-long parent training conferences and culminating witha week-long stay for Garrett to receive professional SonRise playroom facilitation out of state.Thank you for your loving support to empower us to change the world for one little boy who is changing the world for several others!
