Team Willa T-shirt Fundraiser

Just after turning 5 months old Willa was diagnosed with AML (Acute Myeloid Leukemia). The doctors caught it early and she is a feisty little girl, so her chances are good. During her first month in the hospital she fought off an infection that put her in the ICU for a week.
She still has 3 more courses of chemotherapy each lasting a month with recovery time built in after each course. She is supported daily by her parents who have been supported throughout by friends, family and so many other kindhearted individuals.
The chemotherapy lowers all of her white cell counts to kill the infected white cells leaving her susceptible to infection. While visits are nice, make sure you are in good health and clear with mom or dad before coming to see her or us. Want to help? Positive thoughts, prayers and good wishes are the best place to start. Willa is a joyful baby. when she wakes up in the morning she chirps and sings. She has a love/hate relationship with her stuffed monkey whom she will either yell at or snuggle with. She has enjoyed her visits from the music therapy specialists at CHoP and loves shaking that tambourine.
