About this campaign
Pediatric Stroke Warriors is a registered 501C3 nonprofit in Washington State, actively seeking awareness and support for Pediatric Stroke in the Pacific Northwest Region. We provide awareness to all communities, general and medical. Communicating the signs, symptoms and the importance of a rapid response regarding stroke among children.
We are committed in continually seeking and supporting resources that are beneficial in the lives of children impacted by stroke. To date, we have successfully teamed up with Seattle Children's Hospital and are working to support their Pediatric Stroke Program, which benefits hundreds of families seeking care at Seattle Children’s after stroke.
Furthermore, we are dedicated in providing impacted families with hope and support through our Family Support section and a private Facebook support page. We share local and national resources that many have come to need while being an advocate in their child’s medical care, along with opportunities to connect with other families in their communities.
As most of you know Tanner was diagnosed in January of 2015 of having a in utero stroke during birth. Due to Tanners stroke he has motor skill and developmental delays, but boy has he come so far. Tanner currently receives 6 therapies a week both in home and outpatient. Our family has developed a team of therapists and specialist to help push Tanner so he can become the very best version of himself. Tanner has been quite the inspiration around here, in a little under a year Tanner went from barley rolling to being up and working on his walking. Family and Friends have shown such support for Tanner and so I wanted to design a shirt for all of us to wear in support of not only Tanner but all of the stroke warriors out there, these children are beyond amazing and are nothing short of a miracle, they are the true definition of hero. So I ask all of Tanner's team, not only his medical team, but friends and family to purchase a shirt and wear it to help spread awareness. Wear it with pride and help advocate the importance of early intervention and raising strong amazing children,
give them their voice to be inspirations and true WARRIORS.
