Team Shay, Easter Seals & The Epilepsy Foundation of Greater Chicago

Shay Phelan, aka ShayBug, age 2, started home therapy with Easter Seals through the Early Intervention Program when she was 8 months old. She had been diagnosed with a catastrophic childhood epilepsy called infantile spasms at 4 months old and had regressed developmentally back to an infant. Since starting therapy, Shay has made great progress developmentally and continues to impress her family and therapists with her improvements. Shay was also named Easter Seals Joliet Regional Representative for 2015 and is raising funds for the annual Regional Celebration of Giving Telethon on April 18. In addition to raising funds for Easter Seals, Shay's family got together and decided to participate in this year's Epilepsy 5K to show our support for Shay and her fight against this awful illness. The t-shirt has been designed for anyone that would like a t-shirt for the walk or just to become a part of Team Shay. Profits from the sale of these shirts will be sent to the Epilepsy Foundation of Greater Chicago under the name of Team Shay, and to Easter Seals, Joliet division, under Shay's name.
