About this campaign
You may be asking yourself who or what "Mamier" is? Well, Cathy Amell is a woman, better known to most as Mamier. Cathy is kind, sweet, caring, talkative, and funny. She is well-known for her jokes that she can always remember off the top of her head.
Unfortunately, a couple years back, Mamier was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and those jokes that she was known for telling, she can no longer remember, and those long conversations that she would have with everyone she saw she can no longer have. Mamier even has a hard time with many of life's simplest tasks. Things that you and I may take for granted.
Honestly though, knowing that she has Alzheimer's does not kill Cathy's spirit. Cathy is strong-willed, determined, hopeful, and has faith in herself and in God. Everyone supports Mamier and we all want to help find a cure for Alzheimer's!
