Team Maddox

Maddox John Green was born on September 29,2014. He was diagnosed in utero at 36 weeks with Tetrology of Fallot, a rare congenital heart defect.  Maddox was delivered via C-section at Texas Childrens Hospital in Houston,Texas. He stayed 9 days in the NICU for close monitoring before being released to go home. He was welcomed home by his parents, Josh and JaNel Green, sister Peyton (9), brothers Kooper (5), and Fynlee (3).  Maddox has been monitored closely having weekly oxygen checks and monthly Cardiology appointments..  Maddox will be having open heart surgery soon to repair the (VSD) separation between the bottom two chambers of his heart. They will also remove the muscle mass that is positioned below his pulmonary valve and widen the pulmonary artery.  This will cause leakage of blood flow around the artery back into the lower pulmonary chamber..  He will have to have a secondary surgery later on to replace the pulmonary valve. please continue to pray for the healing of Maddox .
