About this campaign

lucasstrongjpgLucas was born on May 21, 2011. His little life has been a fight everyday since and when you see his gorgeous face it always has a smile on it. On his 5th birthday May 21, 2016, his parents got the call his organ transplant was the next day May 22nd!! He is now 5 years old, he has already had 12 surgeries and now having the BIGGEST surgery of his life! He has been fighting since he was in utero. He is a Short Bowel Syndrome and Severe Combined Immune Deficiency Syndrome, he is the ONLY child in the world with his known diagnosis. Quite simply he is a little miracle. On August 31, 2011 his wesome big brother Noah, donated his bone marrow to help save his life, he was only 6 years old and little Lucas 3 months old at the time. Our goal with our LUCAS STRONG t-shirt is so we can all show Lucas how proud and in awe we are of him and hopefully bring some ease financially for he St. Onge amily wle Lucs heals! So et's raise some unds so aybe theSt Onge family can do something special for Lucas and Noah! The St. Onge family has dedicated their lives to finding a cure for sweet Lucas and other special children at Boston Children’s Hospital and raising money for The Jimmy Fund; let’s give back to them and show them how special they all are! Heather and Anthony, Lucas' Mom and Dad, have been told time & time again they need to say good-bye and that little Lucas won't make it. He keeps defying the odds and his smile and his parents pure conditional love have kept him going strong! Lucas Loves the UMASS Lowell Riverhawks and is currently their honorary team captain, the New England Patriots, the Boston Bruins (so does his Mom and big Brother Noah), his favorite color is Blue, and he LOVES Captain America!!! His Mom and Dad call him their Fighter!! And that is truly what he is!! He is awesome and I know we can make a difference by educating ourselves on S.B.S and supporting Lucas, Captain Lucas that is!! Lucas is as always LUCAS STRONG!
