Find a Cure for Cystic Fibrosis

When Brielle was only 2 weeks old she was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis. CF is a chronic, genetic disease that affects the lungs and digestive system. CF causes her body to create thick, sticky mucus in both her lungs and pancreas. Because her lungs are clogged with so much mucus it leaves her very susceptible to many life-threatening illnesses. Brielle's pancreas is obstructed by that same mucus and it prevents her body's natural enzymes from breaking down and absorbing food. People with CF often have a hard time breathing and keeping a healthy weight. Brielle takes over a dozen pills and endures hours of breathing treatments and chest physical therapy every single day.
There is currently no government funding to help find a cure for CF, so we are counting on awesome people like you to help make a life changing difference and help add tomorrows for Brielle and the other 70,000 people living with Cystic Fibrosis.
