About this campaign

Please help usraise funds to start the Reagan E. Flemming STRAIGHT NUGGET FOUNDATION.Joining Team Reagan is straight nugget!

REAGAN Yellow BandanajpgDSC_2841-EditJPGReagan Flemming battled Ewing Sarcoma Bone Cancer for seven years. She underwent multiple chemotherapies, radiation treatments, surgeries, blood transfusions, biopsiesand clinical trials.Reagan passed away peacefully on March 27, 2015, at the ageof eighteen, afterdedicating her life to helping and inspiring others. One of her dreamswas to spread Childhood Cancer Awareness and the need forchildhood cancer researchby asking othersto GO GOLD by purchasing and wearing these cool TEAM REAGAN t-shirts! We are running ourPhase 2 t-shirt campaign in order to raise funds to start a foundation in Reagan's memory.Motivated by her deep and abiding faith, which challenged her to love like Jesus, Reagantruly desired tohelp families touched by medical crisis, either that of a child or parent.Instead of birthday presents, sheasked for donations forher 13th birthdayin order to provide children in local hospitals with toys, candy, books and gifts. She also was able to give many families in medical crisis financial support with groceries, gas and other expenses. The establishment of a foundation will fulfill another of Reagan's dreams and continue her legacy. The foundation will be calledThe Reagan E. Flemming Straight Nugget Foundation for families in medical crisis. We are naming the foundation after a phrase that Reagan coined, "Straight Nugget". Reflecting on her life, that is just whatour Reaganwas, a tiny GOLD nugget proven in the fire of her suffering andpacked full of so much vibrancy and immeasurable value. She was and continues to bea sparkling beacon for others. We believe anyone helping others in Reagan's memory through the establishment of her foundationis not only a part of Team Reagan, but also aSTRAIGHT NUGGETin the finest sense. Reagan asked us to continue to promote childhood cancer awareness in her memory and to continue to helpfamilies in medical crises. The purchase of a t-shirt willhelp us achieve this goal. Each year in September, which is Childhood Cancer Awareness month, we will ask TEAM REAGAN to wear their shirts on a particular day. We also will be creating a new shirt design each September in Reagan's memory to benefit her foundation. Thank-you for having a heart of GOLD.

I'm a volunteer at special love. My first year at camp As a counselor I met Reagan and she was my dance partner at the dance the last night at camp that year. I've learned a lot for her and many kids at camp about life and courage.
