About this campaign
These shirts are being sold in memory of levi macon sanders (3/27/13 - 3/30/13). The angel on the front of the shirt was designed using Levi's hand and foot prints from the hospital when he was born.All proceeds will benefit liam's lighthouse foundation. A nonprofit organization to raise funds for research to better education, treatment and diagnosis of the rare diseases called histiocytosis.
Levi Macon Sanders was born 3/27/13 8 weeks premature. He had already received 2 blood transfusions inutero. The doctors did not know what was wrong with him until they delivered him via Cesarean section after he developed a massive brain hemorrhage. At 3 days old he was diagnosed with a rare life threatening disease called HLH. He would need chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant to survive but with the medical problems he sustained due to delayed treatment the doctors gave little hope of his recovery. He was removed from life support on 3/30/13. The angel on the front of the shirt was designed using Levi's hand and foot prints from the hospital when he was born.
