About this campaign

The Crayon Initiative is raising funds needed to manufacture the production molds used during the remanufacturing of their ergonomic crayons which are donated to children's hospitals throughout the United States.

Founded in 2013, The Crayon Initiative is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization which organizes the collection of unwanted crayons, remanufactures them, and donates them to hospitals caring for our kids. Hospital arts’ programs provide in-hospital entertainment and learning programs. Art helps hospitalized children by alleviating anxiety, providing psychological support, and offering creative outlets for self-expression. The Crayon Initiative also supports environmental efforts by diverting these unwanted crayons from the landfills.
