Systema Warrior Foundation: Kamp for Kidz Fundraiser

As many of you know, we have been operating a very successful survival school in the Ozarks for the past two years known as Systema Survival School. This venture, which started out as an off-shoot of our school in St. Louis, grew beyond our expectations. From a business standpoint, this is a very good thing. Profits are fine if that is what you are concerned with. Hey, we all need to pay the bills. However, over the course of the past two years, I have realized a need for something else. There are those individuals that have never been in the woods, experienced nature beyond their local urban parks or seen wildlife in a natural setting. And for most accounts, never will in their lifetime. My life’s course of action has changed radically in the past two months. And with it, I realize that my time is not my own, but that which helps and benefits others. So, beginning in June of 2015, the Systema Survival School and the property on which I conduct our courses will be used specifically for the education of children with disabilities. This will be an extension of the Systema Warrior Foundation and will benefit solely on our hard work, charity and the donations of others. I will continue to hold fundraisers, seminars and other projects to supplement the project. Come June of 2015, I will be financing this strictly out of my pocket. I have felt this calling since I was asked from one of our visually impaired students what it was like to be in the forest. I would much rather have them experience it. I am sure you would agree. Hard work will be involved. Many sacrifices for me and my family will be apparent over the next few years. However, this calling is greater than our sacrifices. Share the journey with us if you want. Together, we WILL make this world a little better than we found it.
