Support Ryan Maurer and his Family

Ryan and Lauren were high school sweethearts and married June of 2012. Ryan turned 28 on February 10. They have a wonderful and energetic boy, Abram, who will be 2 March 11. Ryan started having symptoms in Aug 2014. After a lackadaisical visit with a local doctor Ryan and Lauren sought a second opinion. It was determined he had a cyst on his brain. They scheduled a surgery to remove the cyst on 2/12/14. During surgery it was determined things were much worse than anticipated, it was a tumor. Ryan has since been back to have a second surgery to remove a portion of his skull because of an infection. He will be on home health for approximately 3 months at which point he ll need an additional surgery to replace the section of skull removed and hopefully remove a portion of the tumor that can be removed safely.
