About this campaign

As we begin our 2014 fundraising efforts, we thought we'd try something new and different this year...after all, who doesn't need t-shirts?! Right?! We've designed these simple, yet eye-catching Starfish Missions t-shirts to make available for purchase for our donors and supporters. Not only will the purchase itself support our mission, but wearing them out and about will help us "advertise" as well! Please consider purchasing one to help a great cause!!

Nearly 10 years ago - in October 2004 -Michael and Beth Searcywent on their very first mission trip to the Dominican Republic. It was on that trip that God opened their eyes to the plight of the poor and burdened their hearts for the people there – particularly young children unable to attend school simply for the lack of a uniform, shoes and basic school supplies. Upon returning to the states, God began to develop a passion within them to do something to make a difference in the lives of those children. Soon after, He provided the vision for Starfish Missions. And now – 10 years later, Starfish Missions isstill making a difference thanks to the generosity of so many people that have believed in the mission by providing prayerful and/or financial support over the years.

This year, we have set thegoal of equipping over 425 children for school this fall. While we continue our 'traditional' fundraising efforts, we have also decided to partner with Booster.com this year to offer Starfiish Missions T-shirts as a supplemental fundraising effort.
