Surprise!

We're adopting!!

We have a young family member who has asked us to adopt her baby girl. She is currently pregnant, and due August 20.
We are SO excited!
We've been processing and beginning all the legal paperwork for several months now, but needed some final details to fall into place before we were comfortable announcing our plans.

We came up with this t-shirt design as a way to raise some funds for the expenses we will need to cover, and to bring awareness to the need for adoptive families, both domestically, and internationally. 

We have two separate attorneys, one for the birth mothers state of residence, and one for Florida.

Two separate agencies that will have fees, though minimal compared to attorney fees.

Home study fees.

And travel fees, for a family of five.

With everything, we need to raise about $12,000. That will leave room for a few small items we will need for a new baby, along with a small cushion for any unforeseen costs.
