Team Skye Train

My son Schyler was diagnosed with autism at age 2 ½. To me it came out of nowhere! He was born on his due date, started walking at 8 months, and by all accounts was a “normal” child. Then he started to digress. He was no longer making sound or attempting to speak. I asked his doctor at age 2 and she told me “boys develop a little late so give him time”. Shortly after I knew there was a problem.
Fast forward to today… He is an awesome and highly functional 2nd grader. He struggles with communication at times but he is doing great. I’m so proud of him and everything he has accomplishment thus far. He still has a long road ahead but it is paved with success!
This is the team’s first autism walk and it will be awesome!!!
