Shannon's 2015 Pelotonia Campaign

Last year's t-shirt campaign was such a success, I just had come back to do it again, with the hope to sell more shirts and raise more money than last year. 

This will be my fourth year participating in Pelotonia.  In my first three years, I have raised over $20,500, rode 175 miles, and beat cancer TWICE. 

Since 2009, Pelotonia supporters have raised over $83 million for cancer research at the James Cancer Center right here in Columbus, Ohio.  This effort is leading the charge in the war on cancer with no signs of slowing down until a cure for all cancers is found. 

Cancer does not discriminate.  It knows no race, no gender, no religion, but with the efforts of Pelotonia and The James, one day we WILL live in a cancer free world. One day hearing those three words, "you have cancer", will not be something to fear. I am so thankful to live in a community that has answered the call to action in this war, and I am blessed that I get to be part of it.
