About this campaign

Students for Concealed Carry at FSU believes in restoring the right to self-defense on campus to licensed, of-age citizens in the state of Florida. We support students from all over the state to learn and grow by taking part in committee meetings to support the campus carry bill.

Students for Concealed Carry has a two-part mission:

1. To inform and educate its members and the university community about safe and responsible firearms ownership and concealed carry on campus. This will be accomplished through formal education programs, through advocacy in the university community, and through leadership exemplifying safe, responsible, and lawful firearms use, ownership, and carry.

2. To advocate for legislation recognizing the Second Amendment right of college students, faculty, and staff to bear arms on campus for the purpose of self-defense. Specifically, we wish to encourage legislators at the student government and state level to recognize lawful concealed carry for those in possession of a concealed weapons or firearms license recognized by the state of Florida.
