Saving America's Horses - Tees For Horses - By Wild For Life Foundation Charity

100% of the funds received by the Wild For Life Foundation will provide at-risk and victimized wild horses and burros with lifesaving rescue and sanctuary services including veterinary medical care, nutritional food, transport and peaceful safe natural habitats where they will never be at risk of cruelty, roundups or slaughter again.

Deprived of their Mother's milk to nourish and protect them, it can take upwards to a year to restore their delicate systems with costly milk-replacer feeds and immune building supplements. Their full recovery requires constant expert care and a long term commitment. The number of at-risk wild horses we’ve served through rescue and sanctuary has rapidly grown from our beginning, from just a few animals annually to more than one hundred each year. Many of these displaced victims arrived injured, extremely thin, and in need of urgent veterinary medical care. Just over the last 18 months WFLF has additionally met the needs of over two hundred imperiled rare and wild Mustangs, including over four dozen pregnant mares and orphan foals. And we continue to provide primary care and sanctuary provisions for over seventy five victimized rare and historic wild horses and burros through our lifesaving program, and at WFLF, rescue is just the beginning of a lifelong commitment to provide urgently needed veterinary medical care, nutritious hay, transport and safe natural habitats for each and every animal that comes through our doors.We save and evacuate equines of all breeds and ages from life threatening situations and disaster.

‘HOPE Tees for Horses’ is a powerful lifesaving project under WFLF’s Saving America’s Horses program, and this year’s theme is "WILD AND FREE”. The new artful design features a wild American Mustang filly named Kachina, (which means spirit).

ABOVE: Kachina - After losing her freedom, her home and her family on America’s open range-lands Kachina was about to lose her life to slaughter. WFLF saved Kachina and her family and brought them to safe harbor under WFLF’s sanctuary program where they can live out their lives, free from cruelty and with the assurance of never being at risk of roundup or slaughter again. Kachina’s touching story of courage, survival, love and triumph is represents hope for America's endangered Mustangs who now find themselves targeted for extinction on their quickly disappearing and threatened Native home lands.
