The Wild For Life Foundation (WFLF), a U.S. Registered Nonprofit Charity is at the forefront of efforts to rescue, protect and provide safe harbor for at risk animals, providing the space, peaceful habitat and quality of care which they deserve. Among our greatest concerns are imperiled wild horses and burros, abused, neglected and slaughter bound wild and domestic equines, and inadequate standards of protection for America's equine population as a whole. The WFLF promotes the protection and preservation of wild horses on their Native lands and their natural ecosystems, the protection of wildlife and the prevention of cruelty to animals.. The WFLF is achieving these goals through operating equine rescue, sanctuary, protection and rehabilitation programs. We depend 100% upon the generosity of others to accomplish our mission. The Wild For Life Foundation implements high standards and best practices in all animal care which ties directly to our rescue and sanctuary success. We see rescuing at-risk and victimized animals as a sacred trust. By serving these animals through a gentle, soothing rescue and rehabilitation process we enable those who have arrived injured and in-shock to heal and thrive in safe and peaceful environments. WFLF works in conjunction with local, state and federal law enforcement agencies and has oftentimes been the first and only place where injured, orphaned and homeless wild and domestic equines have found refuge. WFLF delivers an important public service by providing a place where distressed, wounded, or displaced equines of all breeds, ages and disciplines get a second chance at life and are able to thrive in safe healing habitats.


Our fundraising t-shirt features Radar, the cutest little baby burro ever! His mommy was living wild in the rural foothills of Southern California where urban development is now infringing on their homeland and their way of life has changed. Radar's mommy and several of her family members were recently captured by local authorities to help protect them from getting hit by cars. Wild For Life Foundation accepted these burros into its rescue and sanctuary program. Six of the incoming burros were pregnant when they were captured. Radar is one of the little babies who LIFE was SAVED through WFLF's program.
