Love Twenty Paws

This week was one of toughest in TPR's history. As most of you know, Davie, our 7 year old Boston Terrier NYACC survivor, needed emergency hospitalization on July 10th for severe pneumonia. The next day his lung collapsed. That same day another TPR dog was rushed to the ER. Billy, our 10 year old min pin, best friend and companion to Pepsi the chi, was suddenly engulfed with severe and rapidly recurring seizures.
Both pups required intensive ICU care. We did everything we possibly could for both pups, we even took out loans in our own names to pay for the costly care and treatments. Sadly, both dogs passed within 24 hours of each other. Davie and Billy passed naturally. Each time the doctors were extremely emotional and heart broken. Everyone was praying they would make it.

Davie's vet bill ended up being $4000 and Billy's was $3000. We are at a loss. Until we can make up this huge debt, we cannot rescue anymore animals. Our rescue is in danger of shutting its doors.
