About this campaign

We need to raise as much funds as possible to keep the doors open at Sweet Briar College so we can still come home.  It is never too late and we must the leaders that Indy wanted we she founded the college in 1901.  Let's honor Daisy and Indy.  It is our duty and obligation to do so!

The funds will go directly to Save Sweet Birar, Inc.

Sweet Briar, founded in 1901, has served as an educational institution to make women leaders providing them an environment that is unlike any other. I choose to go there because I grew up traveling through the campus with my parents on our way to visit family in Danville, VA.  The beauty always took me back as well as the natural surroundings that the campus offered.

When it came time to apply for colleges, I applied on early admission and accepted to begin attending in 1997.  I graduated with the Centennial Class of 2001.  The bonds from lifelong friendships as well as the fact that I keep in touch with many of the professors have always kept me coming back.  My last visit was February of 2014.  I do not want this upcoming reunion to be my last!

So, please show your support and help save an asset to the surrounding community as well as the future for many young women hoping to attain a degree from a terrific and historical liberal arts college.  It is a truly unique place.

All the funds will go directly to Save Sweet Briar, Inc. #SaveSweetBrair
