Jolene is a 7 year old Mammoth Mule that was saved from the Kill-buyer in May, 2016. She has since been spending her rehab time at Begin Again Horse Rescue in Lima, NY, putting weight on, learning that people aren't so bad after-all, and winning over hundreds with her sweet personality and unforgettable ears. Unfortunately from her years of neglect, she has developed a severe case of Canker in both her hind feet and needs extensive treatment to cure it. Both the vet & farrier at Cornell University have given her an optimistic outlook on the future as long as we can get the Canker taken care of properly.
