Back by demand, The Tribe that Supports Sarah's Fight Against Cancer fundraiser is back!

On March 17th, 2014, Sarah had emergency surgery to remove a football sized mass that had ruptured in her abdomen, causing internal bleeding just weeks before her 31st birthday. Over the course of the next six weeks, Sarah and her family began the crazy journey against sarcoma, a rare cancer. On Friday May 9th, 2014, she's starting chemo. She is able to do most of her treatment in Bend at home, and will check-in at OHSU's Sarcoma center every few months.

Sarah is passionate about following your bliss, making the most of life and being present to every moment. She is an artist, writer and community builder determined to punch cancer in the face! When not utilizing her creative superpowers (like designing this shirt) she works in healthcare helping people get access to community resources and navigating the healthcare system to get the most out of their care.
