About this campaign

The Ewart W. Sanders Center for First Responders program is for first responders, military personnel, and their families who have been impacted by their work experience. After its launch in Spring 2016, the Sanders Center will be one of only three programs of it's kind in the world. The Sanders Center residential program provides an educational experience to current and retired first responders and military and their families designed to help them identify signs and symptoms of work-related stress including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in themselves and others.

The Ewart W. Sanders Center for First Responders program is for first responders, military personnel, and their families who have been impacted by their work experience. We advocate strongly for the awareness of mental health issues, specifically PTSD, in first responders and military and fight to STOP THE STIGMA of utilizing mental health resources in the public safety community.
