Ruth's Promise Ministry - Supporting needy Kenyan Elderly Christians each day!

Elderly people have been left and abandoned among African countries. Most of the donors are working to help other ministries like the Orphan Ministries and Widows Ministries.

These two types of ministries are good (James 1:27) and we should support them but what about the elders who are aged? Those who have nobody to support them. They can’t walk, can't wash their clothes, can't clean their homes or cook their meals. Jesus talked to us through parables about this in Mathew 25:32-46.

Elderly Kenyans do not get an income from the government like we do in the States. Our seniors either never had children or their children passed away young. They have no one but Ruth's Promise Ministry to help them.

Each month, Ruth’s Promise Ministry helps elderly Kenyan Christians with weekly housekeeping, laundry, daily meals, clothes, and medical supplies plus doctor and hospital fees. We have even paid for thefuneral and burial costs for one of our recipients.

Currently, we are helping eiht needyseniors ut we have another 25 who desperately need our services. We have three local young widows on our payroll who complete these daily services for us.

The local ministry is overseen by Mark and Eunice Sure who are Kenyan missionaries. Their son, Felix Sure is our local coordinator who oversees the monthly distributions and daily needs of our elderly recipients.

Our U.S. fundraiser is Margaret Ivory, a minister's wife and Texan businesswoman, who spreads the word aout Ruth's Pomise and its mission.

Our goal is to incorporate in the States and in Kenya so we can access additional funds that are not available to us at this time so we can help all of our needy seniors and eventually build an assisted living facility to house all of them.
