About this campaign

Rock Paper Scissors Collective is proud to present a limited edition shirt designed by Oakland resident and long-time RPSC friendJohn Casey.

Proceeds from the shirt sales go directly to support the many community art programs run by Rock Paper Scissors in Oakland.

The Rock Paper Scissors Collectiveis a volunteer-run organization that fosters creativity and collaborationin order to strengthen local communities and encourage sustainable practicesand alternative models. We promote the sharing of ideas, skills, and resourcesthrough the celebration of art, craft, education, and performance.

RPSC currently realizes this through
an accessible space that offersfree and low-cost classes, curated and open submission art shows, theretail of independently made clothing/craft/zines/music, a drop in artslab, community events space, and youth involvement.

Rock Paper Scissors Collective
formed in 2004 as a group of emerging artists within the Oakland arts community (not only visual arts but music, crafts, film and writing) who saw a need for a place such as RPSC to enable others within the community to teach, sell, exhibit and learn about art. After more than a year of fundraising, we moved into our storefront space at 2278 Telegraph Ave., in downtown Oakland.

Thank you! I want to come back around and help out with the zine library. I realized there are a lot of vintage skateboarding zines there. Used to volunteer... would love to drop by a craft and zine making night again!

I don't get much chance to frequent RPSC, but am really grateful it exists.
