Rockin The Red Dress

Heart disease has touched my family repeatedly, causing unexpected loss of some members and long term suffering of others. As for me at age 32, as my young children watched on,  I suffered a massive heart attack known as the widow maker (named for very low survival rate) a blood clot found its way to my heart and completely closed off what is known as the LAD vessel of my heart. By Gods grace I survived the ordeal, but unfortunatly there was major damage to my heart. 
Heart disease quickly took over my heart due to the damage and I have been fighting it ever since. I will proudly be turning 50 this year, so as you can see with the advances in the medical field, people can fight this disease.

Heart Disease silently, like a theif in the night, has became the

For centuries it was thought of as a mans disease, this lack of awareness has caused the deaths of many women. Women complaining of chest pains have often recieved care and testing for everything but their hearts, this lack of education has lead to many deaths that may have been prevented with proper medical treatment.
