Always Remember to Roar for #LukaTheLion

At nearly 21 months of age, Luka Charlie Fisher passed away peacefully at UNC hospitals on December 1, 2015 after being born with a very rare primary immunodeficiency disease and subsequent bone marrow transplant. He was cared for with love and dedication his entire life by Dr. Philip Roehrs and the UNC team, for which we are eternally grateful. To honor Luka's spirit -- his shining light and ability to always remember to roar -- his family and lion's pride circle of love are establishing a foundation in his name to help others. With your help, the future Luka The Lion Foundation's goals are to raise awareness for pediatric rare diseases, treatment, and research while providing support to patients and families.
