About this campaign
Rincon Rumbero has been taking place for nearly 2 years at KAOS Network in Leimert Park, California. It is Los Angeles' only free, regular, and open rumba.
We never charge to attend our regular rumba, which takes place on the first Saturday of every month at KAOS Network (4343 Leimert Blvd., L.A.).
Yet the event does take money to function. We donate money to KAOS Network (for providing the space), we make flyers to publicize the events, and we purchase andrepair equipment (sound systems, instruments) that is used during the rumbas.
Consider purchasing a t-shirt not only to support Rincon Rumbero, but to express your love of rumba to all of those who see the shirt.
Rincon Rumbero is a on-going project which started in April, 2012 between Ben Caldwell of the KAOS Network and local rumba connoisseur's. Since May, 2012, Rincon Rumbero has been going strong and become a central hub for Angelino's interested in Afro-Cuban rumba.
While the events are always free of charge, funds are needed to print flyers, support the KAOS Network - which hosts the event, and repair and replace audio equipment and instruments.
Please consider keeping Rincon Rumbero alive and well the first Saturday of every month into 2014. All funds will go to supporting KAOS Network and paying for incidentals related to producing Rincon Rumbero (no personal profit is being made).
Our goal is to keep the Afro-Cuban rumba tradition alive and well in Los Angeles.
