Kalon and Jennifer's Adoption Fund

As many of you know, We have been trying for a little over 2 years to have a child. Adoption has always been a desire and have recently thought that maybe the Lord was leading us to move ahead with adoption.

Jennifer has completed 4 rounds of fertility medication to help with becoming pregnant. The months she was on the medication were terribly hard. The side effects of the medication was almost too much to bear. We came to the conclusion that while we are not going to quit trying to have a child by way of conception, we would go ahead and move forward in pursuing adoption. We know and trust that the Lord could give us a child by conception at any point he so chooses, but He has bent our hearts towards adoption and whether we do this now or next year-or even the next...we are going to do it.

John 14:18: "I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you."

Ephesians 1:5-6 says, "In love God predestined us for adoption as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will, to the praise of His glorious grace, with which he has blessed us in the beloved." 

We may have biological children one day, however we believe that the Lord has led us to adoption for such a time as this. Our prayer is the Lord would lead every step of the way. 

We want to give our family, church, and friends an opportunity to celebrate this wonderful story and have a chance to be a part of God's plan for an orphan somewhere in this world!!!
