About this campaign
My name is Carol, and I am a survivor of Domestic Violence. I know the pain, I know the emptiness, and the hopelessness. I also know the victory of survival, andthat is why Istarted theRed Pumps and Jeans - Domestic Violence Awareness Movement.
Red Pumps and Jeans has been a brainchild of mine for approximately 6 years. However,it came to fruition inAugust 2013. My goal is to inspire, motivate, and support all victims of domestic abuse in every way possible. Please like my Facebook page (Red Pumps and Jeans) where you can get inspiration, motivation, information,and emotional support. I am also currently working on a mentoring program which will be geared toward inspiring, uplifting, educating and teaching young people to value themselves, as well as, others. They will be taughtthat abuse in all formsis unacceptable, and that they are not to initiate such behavior nor accept such behavior. They will be taught to respect themselves, and in return give respect to others. I pray that this will be the start to some form of prevention. I know that I have been called to do this, and DO THIS IS WHAT I WILL DO.
