Psych Club Fundraiser

The Psychology Club of Chippewa Falls Senior High School(Chippewa Falls, WI) is a student organization of approximately 80 members who share an interest in psychology. We meet monthly to plan club events, activities, and service projects.

Each year we order club t-shirts with psychology-related themes, and they have become popular enough that we frequently get requests from the public to make them available for sale. So, this year we decided to open up sales to non-members and donate the profits to charitable causes.

In the spiritf "think globally, act locally," we settled upon two worthy fundraising campaigns as the recipien of our funds, one in o local community and one of a more national scale. Profits from the t-shirt will divided equally between them, and we hope to make meaningful contributions to each cause.

Southview Elementary School Barrier-Free Playground Project
Sohview Elementary is a primary school in our district. They are currently trying to raise funds to build a "barrier-free" playground with equipment that supports the play and recreation of students of all needs and mobility levels. When complete, this playground will be a great asset to our community and will allow children of all abilities to play together.

National Museum of Psychology
This project is a bold attempt to create a museum dedicated to the history of psychology at the University of Akron, Ohio. When complete, the museum will house artifacts and apparatus from many of psychology's most well-known studies, including the Stanford Pison experiment.
