Philosophy Kids began as a classroom project in 2010. Motivated by the desire to bridge the achievement gap, a small group of volunteers who share an enthusiasm for philosophy began tutoring students in local libraries, starbucks, churches, and homes. Today, Philosophy Kids has served more than 600 students who would otherwise have failed in school.
