Pinwheels for Prevention 2016

April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month, a time to remember that we can each play a part in promoting the social and emotional well-being of children and families in our community. To help promote this reminder, Prevent Child Abuse America and local chapters nationwide use the Pinwheels for Prevention® campaign, which is an effort to change the way our nation thinks about prevention and how we can deliver on our commitmento Amerca's childre. As the newsymbol for cild abuse and nelect prention the pinwheel is an unplifting reminder of childhood and the bright futures all children deserve. We want to reinforce the notion that healthy child development serves as a foundation for both community and economic development. At Prevent Child Abuse Nevada, we believe in prevention, in doing what we can to ensure that children live in safe, stable and nurturing environments. We believe healthy child development is the foundation for community and economic development, the building blocks of a flourishing society and stable nation.
