About this campaign

We are a non-profit set up specifically for those suffering with chronic pancreatitis. Our main goals are to help those suffering with this disease, to educate those who don't know about this illness and to help doctors to better treat those suffering with this illness.

Shirts will be delivered approximately 2 weeks after the close date.

We are one of the only non profits specifically targeted for patients with chronic pancreatitis. This disease is extremely painful and it can hit anyone at any age. Pancreatitis can be due to many factors; hereditary, gallstones, medicines, idiopathic (no known cause) and in few cases alcohol consumption. A patient with pancreatitis cannot digest food and the destruction of pancreas tissue often leads to diabetes. There is little known about the pancreas and many doctors are hesitant to try to treat it with invasive or non invasive treatments. Many sufferers are on feeding tubes for for months at a time and sometimes, for life. The medications are numerous for this illness and are very expensive. Many people are suffering because they cannot afford the medication needed to make the pain bearable. Please help us to help others suffering from this horrible disease and to educate others about it. We sincerely appreciate your support!
