About this campaign

Paige has been diagnosed with Apraxia. It is suggested that she have intensive speech therapy twice a week. Each appointment adds up & we cannot currently afford to give her the suggested treatment. Please help her get the therapy she needs while raising awareness of Apraxia!

Shirts will be delivered approximately 2 weeks after the close date.

After years of tests & doctors appointments, Paige was finally diagnosed with Apraxia - a neurological motor disorder that mostly affects her speech, but also the rest of her body. She's amazing & never gets down about this rough diagnosis.

As her mom, I want the best for her. I want her to have friends, do well in school & have as many opportunities as possible... all things that can be hindered by lack of speech. We have seen the incredible impact that speech therapy has had on her & want to continue to give her that help & success. Although we have found an amazing speech therapist who is reasonably priced, appointments twice a week are very costly and more than we can afford. We've had to stop providing her with speech therapy before, but it broke my heart. We've seen the amazing improvement & boost she gets from having regular interaction with a professional speech therapist & we aren't ready to give up on that hope yet.

Paige has turned out to be a very funny girl. I love hearing her "talk" and want the rest of the world to be able to hear and understand her, too. She has so much to contribute to the world, but just needs to find her voice.

Please join us in raising awareness of Apraxia as well as helping Paige to get the help she needs by purchasing one (or more) of these t-shirts.

Thank you!

-Michelle (Paige's mom)
