About this campaign
Our City Farm is a sustainable urban farm in the heart of St. Louis city. We are experiencing theft and vandelism at the farm and are raising funds to purchase a fence so that Our City Farm can remain a beautiful and safe destination for our customers and visitors.
In 2012 Our City Farm
began on Delmar Blvd in St. Louis City. What started as a vacant, city-owned lots has now been transformed into a sustainable urban farm with 48 raised beds, (4) 50-foot berms, 4
fruit trees and a hydroponic greenhouse. With the exciting growth of the farm, we've started
to experience an unfortunate rise in theft of tools and produce, destruction of crops and damage to the
greenhouse. We have been saving up for a perimeter fence and asking for your help
to raise $3,000 towards the $9,000 estimate for the fence.
Our City Farm hosts free workshops and events at the farm and having a fence would further ensure the safety of our guest (some of which are small children). Additionally, the fence would provide a safe environment for our workers and volunteers. Purchasing this T-shirts will help us pay for the fence and secure the future of our beautiful farm.
