About this campaign

Your support will help Black Pine Animal Sanctuary complete an expansion of habitats to provide a permanent home, with in-ground pools, for Millie and Top Cat, and up to two more big cats! They will join Taz, Ticha and Delilah, the original Ohio tigers given refuge in 2012.

Top Cat and Millie Await a Permanent Habitat In September 2013 two more tigers, our tenth and eleventh in residence, arrived. Millie and Top Catwere surrendered from a small unaccredited zoo in Ohio. These cats were originally kept as back yard pets by a private owner in Michigan. Millie is a three-year-old Indo-Chinese tiger. Top Cat is a three-year-old Sumatran tiger.SAM_1934JPG Millie and Top Catwill remain in a temporary holding area (in photo) until a total of$30,000 is reached to complete two additional indoor den spaces and two new outdoor habitats with in-ground pools. This project also requires a new service road be installed. This construction project will also add capacity to the existing tigerden building that was completed in August 2013 (see below), making it possible to ultimately house up to eight big cats in the new building. Consider a gift to the Ohio Tiger Relief Fund. Let's give these young, active cats a wonderful "forever" home!Delilahjpg
